Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to support installations in Woodbury, Minnesota. The role builds on Level I responsibilities, with leadership duties, system configuration, and commissioning across nurse call, access, and video surveillance platforms.

The position emphasizes hands-on installation, FAT testing, and customer training, with ongoing professional development and collaboration with project teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade or similar field.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Hands-on field experience with systems installation.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, networking, VoIP).
• Ability to read architectural drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Leadership/supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience with service ticketing processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I installer responsibilities and document adherence.
• Manage project/service tickets with updates aligned to assignments.
• Lead and delegate tasks within the team to ensure timely results.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and solicit feedback for improvement.
• Communicate with Project Delivery Coordinators, PMs, and customers.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems.
• Pursue ongoing development in leadership and communication.
