Job summary

Skydio is seeking a driven customer-facing Program Manager to lead implementation and delivery for Law Enforcement customers, based in Chicago. You will be the liaison for the Chicago Police Department, managing project planning, risk, budget, and scheduling to ensure contract success.

You will work within Skydio's Mission Success team, translating customer needs to agile engineering and product teams, and collaborating with senior leaders to align on milestones and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a customer-facing professional services / program manager.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including interaction with senior leaders.
• Proven track record of implementing new technology and agile development with technical teams.
• Experience implementing internal business systems, processes and controls for large scale customer projects in the Law Enforcement field.
• Experience with Law Enforcement and commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems and related software development.
• Law Enforcement/Federal Program Management experience, including tech assessments and budgeting.
• Desirable: FAA Part 107 certification within first 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design end-to-end project deployment and integration activities for platform launch and operational success.
• Translate customer requirements to agile product and technical teams to drive delivery.
• Establish relationships with Law Enforcement customers and drive milestones with engineering teams.
• Inform Skydio and customer leaders about contract risks and opportunities for coordinated delivery.
• Support go-to-market and business activities as required.
