Job summary

Skydio, Inc. is seeking a driven customer-facing Program Manager to lead the implementation and delivery for our Law Enforcement customers, including LAPD engagement.

You will own project planning, risk management, budget, and scheduling while collaborating with product and engineering to translate requirements into successful outcomes. You will operate in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams, requiring strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a customer-facing professional services / program manager, or in a similar high-tier complex and multifaceted role preferably for law enforcement agencies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including interaction with senior leaders and a strong focus on project management tools and concepts.
• Proven track record of implementing new technology, agile development and interfacing with technical teams to deliver on customer schedules.
• Experience in implementing effective internal business systems, processes and controls (hardware, software, operations) for management of large scale customer projects in the Law Enforcement field
• Experience with Law Enforcement and commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems and related software development.
• Law Enforcement/Federal Program Management experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning.
• Outstanding analytical thinker and problem solver, comfortable working in data analytics and able to resolve complex problems independently. Thinking ‘out of the box’ and to develop creative solutions
• Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged for all Skydio employees and required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive all aspects of implementation and delivery for Law Enforcement customers.
• Be the Law Enforcement customer liaison with LAPD and manage contracts across planning, execution, risk, budget, and schedule.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to translate customer requirements into delivery plans.
• Maintain relationships with law enforcement customers and align plans with Skydio’s engineering teams to meet milestones.
• Provide contract management risk/opportunity updates to stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional product delivery.
