Job summary

Four Seasons is seeking a Laundry Valet Attendant in Santa Barbara to support the daily operation of the Laundry and Valet department. You will ensure guest clothing and employee uniforms are processed, finished, and presented to the highest standards with care and attention to detail.

You will handle garments, coordinate services with guests, and uphold Four Seasons’ luxury service standards. This full-time role requires English proficiency and a proactive, guest-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months in a similar role or dry-cleaning experience.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry processes.
• Willing to work full-time shifts in Santa Barbara.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest laundry requests and coordinate pick-up and delivery.
• Inspect, tag, and track guest garments.
• Determine care methods (wash, dry clean, press, stain removal).
• Operate laundry equipment and maintain safety.
• Fold, package, or hang garments per standards.
• Support employee uniforms cleaning and distribution.
• Report maintenance needs.
• Deliver courteous guest service.

We are looking for a talented Laundry Valet Attendant to join our team and significantly contribute to reopen our newly remodeled resort in the American Riviera, Santa Barbara!

About The Role

As a Laundry Valet Attendant, you will support the day to day operation of the Laundry and Valet department, ensuring guest clothing and employee uniforms are processed, finished, and presented to the highest standards. You will be responsible for handling garments with care and precision while delivering the seamless service and attention to detail for which Four Seasons is renowned.

What You Will Do

• Responded to guest requests for laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing services, coordinating garment pick-up, documenting service details, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Inspected, tagged, and tracked guest garments to maintain accurate identification and prevent loss or misplacement throughout the cleaning process.
• Evaluated clothing care requirements and determined appropriate treatment methods, including washing, dry cleaning, pressing, stain removal, and minor repairs.
• Processed guest garments using industry-approved equipment, chemicals, and temperature settings while adhering to fabric care specifications.
• Folded, packaged, or hung completed garments according to guest preferences and Four Seasons service standards.
• Processed employee uniforms, ensuring proper cleaning, organization, and distribution to the Housekeeping department.
• Operated and maintained laundry and dry-cleaning equipment, including washers, dryers, pressing machines, steam tunnels, and irons, while following all safety procedures.
• Conducted routine equipment inspections and promptly reported maintenance concerns or operational deficiencies to management.
• Delivered exceptional guest service by maintaining professional communication, anticipating guest needs, and resolving service requests efficiently.
• Complied with Four Seasons standards, Sequence of Service procedures, and departmental quality expectations to ensure a luxury guest experience.
• Support Monthly Linen and Uniform inventories
• Support Laundry operations as needed

What You Bring

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of Dry Clean and pressing/steaming of different type of garments and fabrics materials
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role or Dry-Cleaning experience
• A high school degree or equivalent experience required.
