Four Seasons Santa Barbara is seeking a Laundry Wash Attendant to support daily laundry operations, sorting, washing, and drying linens to meet cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.

The successful candidate will operate and maintain laundry equipment, keep the area organized, and ensure accurate daily records while collaborating with team members.

This full-time role offers an hourly rate of 22.28, a dynamic culture, and comprehensive benefits as part of the Four Seasons experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work full shift standing.
• Excellent reading and writing in English.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry processes.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens into appropriate wash categories and load washers/dryers.
• Prepare wet linens for finishing by shaking, straightening and feeding into ironing equipment.
• Select correct wash cycles and chemical formulas for each linen type; transfer to dryers and monitor load sizes.
• Deliver clean, dried linens to designated areas for folding or further processing.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment; perform routine cleaning and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and keep necessary chemicals and supplies available.
• Maintain accurate daily records of laundry activities.
• Keeps the work area clean and compliant with Four Seasons standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in training to enhance skills.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays; work under pressure.

We are looking for a talented Laundry Wash Attendant to join our team and significantly contribute to reopen our newly remodeled resort in the American Riviera, Santa Barbara!

About The Role

As a Laundry Wash Attendant, supports daily laundry operations by efficiently sorting, washing, and drying a variety of linens in accordance with cleanliness, safety, and quality standards. This role ensures proper machine operation, accurate load handling, and consistent output to maintain a smooth, reliable flow of clean linens for the operation.

What You Will Do

• Sort soiled linens into appropriate wash categories, identify stained or damaged items, and accurately load and unload washers and dryers while ensuring proper load weights.
• Prepare wet linens for finishing by shaking, straightening, and feeding sheets, table linens, and napkins into ironing equipment.
• Select correct wash cycles and chemical formulas for each linen type, transfer washed items to dryers, and monitor load size and drying times based on fabric and weight.
• Deliver clean, dried linens to designated areas for folding or further processing.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment by performing routine cleaning, including clearing lint traps, following proper start‑up and shut‑down procedures, and reporting equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked work area, ensuring all necessary chemicals and supplies are readily available.
• Maintains accurate daily records of laundry activities.
• Keeps the work area clean, tidy, and fully compliant with Four Seasons standards.
• Collaborates with colleagues and participates in training sessions to enhance technical and behavioral skills.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to function under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions
