Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is hiring an In Room Dining Assistant Manager to train and lead the room service team, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding guest experiences. You will foster a positive work environment while maintaining a culture of service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a supervisory Food & Beverage role, strong English communication, and experience with hotel F&B systems. This position offers competitive pay and benefits in a luxury setting.

Qualificações

• College degree in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/assistant manager experience in Food & Beverage.
• Room service experience preferred.
• English reading/writing proficiency required.
• Ability to operate hotel F&B computer systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Room Service Department to meet standards.
• Be visible in operation, recognize staff, manage guest concerns and special requests.
• Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods; knowledge of wine and spirits.
• Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, purchasing, inventory and control.
• Attend regular operational meetings for coordination between departments.
• Observe facilities and equipment and suggest improvements as needed.

About The Role

The In Room Dining Assistant Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village will be responsible for training, mentoring, and leading the room service team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. This role focuses on delivering top-tier service while maintaining an uplifting, positive work environment for the team. The ideal candidate will prioritize guest satisfaction and inspire the team to exceed expectations in every service interaction.

What You Will Do

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel's Room Service Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for 24-hour a day in-room dining and in-room private bar services.
• Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, and inventory and control.
• Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
• Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.

What You Bring

• College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required
• One to two years previous experience in a line, supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage
• Previous experience in Room Service is preferred
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• The ability to operate a computer and other food and beverage computer systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
