Job summary

Telesat is a leading global satellite operator seeking a Technical Solutions Architect for the Global Customer Solutions group. The role focuses on pre- and post-sales support, delivering Lightspeed satellite and ground segment solutions, and guiding customer engagements across LATAM and the globe.

You will gather requirements, model and simulate designs, and present technical recommendations to secure sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, Network Tech, Telecommunications, or EE.
10+ years in systems engineering or connectivity solutions.
Experience with satellite communications, RF link analysis, and RF hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, estimate cost, and propose Lightspeed communications solutions based on customer requirements.
Work with Global Sales and engineering contacts to validate requirements and technical details.
Prepare, present proposals and review requirements with customers.
Lead and participate in customer meetings.
Identify new Lightspeed solutions to create revenue opportunities.
Plan upgrades and review network performance with customers.
Collaborate with Marketing and Product to identify network capacity.
Support projects from design to implementation.
Update databases and engineering information systems.
Participate in trade shows and technical demonstrations.
