You will use proprietary simulation tools, collaborate across propulsion and payload teams, and support proposals and customer discussions with technical credibility. The role emphasizes offshore and domestic travel up to 50%, a strong customer-facing demeanor, and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Experience partnering with system engineering leads on complex technical systems.
• Some proficiency with simulation/analysis tools evaluating performance and tradeoffs.
• Proficiency with AI tools and their application to engineering workflows.
• Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills; able to translate technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical advisor during customer discussions and translate engineering tradeoffs.
• Represent engineering in customer-facing settings and conferences.
• Collaborate with propulsion, payload, and subsystems to convert capability into customer-ready material.
• Operate and apply simulation tools to model satellite performance and power dynamics.
• Support technical proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and ensure sound solutions.
• Contribute to internal simulation tool development for customer engagements.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate analysis and proposal development.
