Job summary

CesiumAstro, a leader in out-of-the-box SATCOM solutions, seeks a sales-engineering professional to demonstrate, configure, and support field deployments of advanced antenna and terminal products. You will interact with customers, plan live demos, troubleshoot in real time, and communicate value to diverse stakeholders.

The role requires deep SATCOM knowledge, excellent presentation skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field as listed, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in SATCOM, RF, aerospace or defense customer-facing roles.
• Hands-on with satellite terminals, modems and network gear.
• Strong IP networking and terrestrial integration knowledge.
• Familiar with DVB-S2X, TDMA, SCPC, OFDM and ACM concepts.
• Ability to travel 25–50% and engage with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer demonstrations of SATCOM terminals across markets.
• Plan, configure, and run live OTA demonstrations and field evaluations.
• Travel to customer sites, test ranges and events to support engagements.
• Operate SATCOM terminals, ESA antennas, modems and RF gear during demos.
• Develop demonstration scenarios highlighting performance and mission value.
• Serve as technical lead during evaluations and issue resolution.
• Prepare technical content for proposals and customer collateral.
• Translate requirements into demonstration plans and criteria.
