You will lead and mentor staff, hire and train team members, ensure compliance with policies, and strive to exceed customer expectations through efficient dispatch and problem-solving. This role offers growth within a dynamic logistics network.

Qualifications

• 5 years of logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers and manage schedules and routes.
• Develop and mentor staff; train on company policies and procedures.
• Handle interviewing, hiring, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Supervise employees and address complaints.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues.
• Identify performance gaps and restructure routes to improve efficiency.
• Train contractors and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure work is completed accurately within time frames.
• Take photos for every job and allocate resources as needed.
