RXO, Inc. seeks a Manager, Last Mile Operations to oversee contract carrier activities, plan routes, monitor performance, and ensure service excellence across North America.

With 5+ years in logistics and supervision, you’ll mentor staff, enforce policies, and optimize delivery routes using planning software. Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers, including maintaining schedules and routes.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals; train staff on policies and procedures.
• Interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and resolving issues as a manager.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Supervise employees per policies and laws, including performance management.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes to improve efficiency.
• Train contract carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure work is completed accurately within time frames.
• Ensure photos are taken for every job.
