Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers, including schedules, routes, reports, and relationships.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals; train on policies and procedures.
• Handle interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Supervise employees per company policies and laws; manage performance and conflicts.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues.
• Identify problem areas and optimize routes for efficiency.
• Train carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately within time frames.
• Capture photos for every job and allocate resources as needed.
