Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Last Mile Operations in the United States. You will oversee the daily operations of contract carriers, plan routes, and mentor staff to achieve performance goals.

The role emphasizes compliance with policies, efficient dispatch, and problem resolution to ensure customer satisfaction. The position requires hands-on leadership, experience in logistics, and the ability to train teams across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in logistics with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and monitor routes.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals; train on company policies and procedures.
• Handle interviewing, hiring, and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage the dispatch of contract carriers and address daily issues.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes to improve efficiency.
• Train contract carriers and dispatchers to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within established timeframes.
