Job summary

RXO in Dallas is seeking a Last Mile Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of contract carriers, plan routes, monitor performance, and play a key role in delivering excellent service across North America.

You'll mentor staff, hire and train, ensure policies are followed, and use route planning software to optimize deliveries, while aligning with management to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and schedules.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals.
• Hire, interview, and address staff issues.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies.
• Supervise employees including hiring and training.
• Use route planning software to build efficient routes.
• Manage the dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues.
• Identify routing improvements to boost efficiency.
• Train carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure timely completion and proper documentation.
