RXO is seeking a Last Mile Operations Manager to connect with customers, assist in route planning and monitoring, and build a bright professional future.

You will oversee daily operations of contract carriers, mentor staff, interview/hire, ensure policy compliance, use route planning software to build efficient routes, manage dispatch, and strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering on-time, accurate service.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and monitor routes.
• Develop and mentor staff; train on company policies and procedures.
• Interview, hire, discipline, and resolve issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Supervise employees per policies and laws, including hiring and training.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve daily issues.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes for efficiency.
• Train and develop carriers and dispatchers to meet expectations.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and on time.
