Job summary

RXO is seeking a Manager, Last Mile Operations in Kansas to lead carrier operations, route planning, and staff development. You will ensure compliance with policies, supervise teams, and optimize delivery routes to meet client expectations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in logistics, strong MS Office skills, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. This role requires flexibility across shifts and travel between branches as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and maintain contractor schedules and routes.
• Develop and mentor staff; train on policies and procedures.
• Manage interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Supervise employees per policies and laws; handle performance reviews.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Identify and restructure routes to improve efficiency.
• Train carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within timeframes.
