Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Assistant Manager - Last Mile to oversee daily delivery operations. You will manage vendor, retailer, and contractor relationships while coordinating truck dispatch and resolving delivery issues.

Develops and maintains relationships with vendors, stores, and independent contractors.
Dispatches trucks using GPS technology.
Oversees in-home delivery for customers.
Maintains monthly operating reports with statistics and customer service scores.
Supervises Customer Service Representatives and Routers.
Directly supervises hourly on-site staff in data entry, customer service, and delivery operations.
Performs training, planning, assigning, directing work, and addressing issues.
