Maersk is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Last Mile facility in Franklin, MA. The role centers on coordinating haulers and delivery teams, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate on-site operations. You will supervise staff, dispatch using GPS, and report performance metrics with Excel.

Applicants need 5+ years in Logistics or Supply Chain and prior supervisory experience. On-site, 11 am–8 pm, five days a week, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a supervisor role, including performance reviews of direct reports.

Responsabilités

• Develops and maintains relations with vendors, stores, and independent contractors.
• Ensures follow-up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in-home damage claims.
• Coordinates flow of communication between Haulers/Delivery teams and Local Client Management Teams.
• Provides on-site presence to ensure Haulers/Delivery teams follow procedures.
• Dispatches trucks using GPS technology.
• Oversees in-home delivery for customers.
• Interacts with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery.
• Maintains monthly operating reports with statistics and customer service scores.
• Oversees recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers.
