Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC in Franklin, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Last Mile facility. You will develop vendor relations, coordinate hauler-to-client communications, and oversee on-site delivery operations with daily GPS-driven dispatch and performance management.

The role requires leadership experience in logistics or manufacturing and a focus on process excellence. The position offers a 11 am–8 pm schedule, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, with

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience in a Supervisor role with direct reports.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains relations with vendors, stores, and independent contractors.
Coordinates flow of communication between Haulers/Delivery teams and Local Client Management Teams.
Dispatches trucks using GPS technology.
Oversees in-home delivery for customers.
Maintains monthly operating reports with statistics and customer service scores.
Oversees recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers.
