Job summary

Maersk in Denver, CO is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee last-mile operations and driver coordination. Last Mile experience preferred; the role rotates between 1st and 2nd shifts, with weekend availability required.

Responsibilities include supervising on-site staff, coordinating vendors and contractors, and ensuring accurate shipping documentation and customer service scores. A bachelor's degree is preferred and candidates should have 5+ years in logistics or related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and 5+ years in logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Experience supervising hourly on-site staff and conducting performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains vendor and contractor relations.
• Monitors shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims.
• Dispatches trucks using GPS.
• Oversees in-home delivery and customer service scores.
• Supervises on-site staff handling operations and data entry.
• Ensures adherence to policies and laws; trains employees.
