Job summary

Maersk, a global leader in container logistics, seeks a Last Mile Site Manager in Mendota Heights, MN to oversee delivery and shipping operations, manage budgets, resolve conflicts, and ensure health, safety, and labor standards. You will organize distribution of goods to enhance customer satisfaction and lead a warehousing team.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with four years of related experience, strong communication and math skills, and the ability to coordinate across Haulers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years related experience or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent mathematical skills for discounts, interest, and volume calculations.
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow for communication between Haulers, Delivery Teams, Call Center, and Local Client Management.
• Provide on-site presence daily/weekly/bi-weekly to ensure procedures are followed.
• Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers.
• Develop and maintain vendor relations.
• Ensure follow-up on shipping discrepancies and damaged goods.
• Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery.
• Maintain monthly operation reports with statistics and customer service scores.
• Other duties as assigned.
