GEODIS is seeking a Terminal Manager for the Final Mile operation in Phoenix. This role oversees the daily terminal operations, staff management, safety compliance, and coordination with logistics teams to optimize schedules and resources.

We are looking for candidates with strong leadership, a solid understanding of logistics, and a proven ability to analyze data to drive cost reductions and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• 5 years of specialized experience in terminal or transportation management preferred.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the terminal, ensuring efficient and timely handling of cargo and transportation activities.
• Supervise terminal staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to optimize schedules, routes, and resource allocation.
• Monitor terminal performance metrics, analyze data, and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and manage the terminal budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with company goals.
• Other duties as required and assigned
