Job summary

Jitsu in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Delivery Station Site Supervisor to lead daily sort and outbound operations, report to the Operations Manager, and ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met on every shift. You will manage a rotating team of hourly associates and leads, implement labor and operations plans, train staff, and continuously improve processes using data-driven insights.

This hands-on role requires strong floor presence and the ability to run the site independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of related experience in last-mile delivery, warehousing, or logistics.
• Demonstrated supervisory or lead experience; ability to direct and motivate hourly personnel including contingent workers.
• Strong floor leadership instincts with visible, accountable presence on shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address real-time issues.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail; able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate.
• Proficiency with Google Drive, Slack, and related operations tools; data-driven mindset.
• OSHA Forklift Operator certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily sort and outbound operations; ensure on-time packing and departures per schedule.
• Manage safety, quality, and cost metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, mentor, and develop hourly associates and leads; onboard new staff.
• Develop staffing rosters and procedures to meet volume and safety standards.
• Investigate operational issues and coordinate with other departments to resolve delays.
• Use data to identify trends and surface opportunities to the Operations Manager.
• Submit bi-weekly orders for warehouse supplies and manage inventory levels.
