Job summary

Jitsu, a fast-growing last‑mile delivery provider, seeks a Site Supervisor (Operations Supervisor) to lead daily sort and outbound operations. You will manage hourly staff, implement safety standards, and ensure on‑time package delivery while maintaining quality and cost controls.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive process improvements, supervise onboarding of personnel, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues in real time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of related supervisory experience in last-mile delivery, transportation, warehousing, or logistics.
• Proven ability to train and motivate hourly personnel and contingent workers.
• Strong floor leadership instincts. You are present, visible, and accountable on shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to identify and act on operational issues in real time.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce safety standards and procedures for the market in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
• Oversee outbound processes, ensuring packages depart daily per schedule and meet safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Manage sortation to ensure accurate and efficient delivery preparation.
• Train, lead, and develop a team of hourly associates and leads, including contingent workers.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues in real time; monitor SLA and staffing gaps.
• Develop inventory management for warehouse supplies and bi‑weekly orders.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues affecting sort execution and delivery timelines.
