Job summary

LaserAway is seeking a skilled Laser Field Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our laser equipment across a multi-location territory, including 8+ clinic locations in the Northern California Bay Area. This on-site role offers compensation of $85,000–$90,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

You’ll manage maintenance across 100+ devices, respond to service tickets, lead new clinic equipment setups, and provide proactive communication with teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience in laser/biomedical/electrical/HVAC or similar.
• Strong electrical safety knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, stand for long periods.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and up to 5 days travel.
• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, video conferencing and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage laser maintenance and repairs across 8+ clinic locations and 100+ medical devices.
• Respond promptly to service tickets and on-call issues, with after-hours flexibility.
• Lead new clinic equipment setup and validation to meet launch deadlines.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and parts inventory management.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and troubleshoot complex electrical/optical issues.
• Communicate proactively with clinic teams on equipment status and repair timelines.
• Create and submit weekly equipment reports.
