Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Installation Business Developer to drive new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing contracts for small scale landscape installation projects. The role blends sales expertise with industry knowledge and relationship management to expand the client base and increase revenue.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; related work experience acceptable.
3–5 years of proven B2B sales success, preferably in landscaping or related services.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices.
Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline for installation projects beyond the maintenance book.
Develop customized proposals and sales presentations addressing client needs.
Negotiate and close contracts aligned with pricing standards and profitability goals.
Build long-term relationships with property managers, developers, and decision-makers.
Transition final installation to a long-term Maintenance Partner with the operations team.
Serve as primary contact during the sales cycle and post-sale transition.
Follow up to ensure client satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and drive retention.
Stay informed on market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends.
Represent the company at trade associations and networking events.
Collaborate with estimating, operations, and project management for accurate proposals.
Review large-scale opportunities with senior leadership and set annual sales goals.
