Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co. seeks motivated interns for a 10–12 week Landscape Maintenance Internship. You’ll gain hands-on experience in field operations, shadow key teams, and receive dedicated mentorship to develop professional skills and industry knowledge.

Interns will participate in projects across field and office operations, with exposure to branch leadership, sales, and maintenance activities. Strong teamwork and customer-focused attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Interest in a team-oriented, customer-focused industry with a willingness to support a variety of operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties.
• Proficient in computers and MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job shadowing with teams in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated mentorship guiding progress with regular feedback.
• Management & Leadership development through team-building and professional etiquette.
• Collaborative team environment working on meaningful projects with interns.
• Professional networking with peers, mentors, and leaders.
• Interns may receive further training in their department of choice at program end.
• Final presentation of internship experience highlighting key learnings and projects.
• Career pathways: top interns may be considered for full-time opportunities after graduation.
