Job summary

BrightView is seeking an Account Manager to serve a portfolio of landscape maintenance clients, acting as the primary contact and overseeing field operations. You will build long-term relationships, pursue ancillary service opportunities, develop estimates, and deliver proposals.

Responsibilities include client retention, site walkthroughs, leading service delivery with the Operations Manager, coordinating with the Branch Manager, and maintaining CRM records while promoting safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience in a customer-focused service industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, management, and leadership, preferably in landscaping or local market.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Ability to foster collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to sell ancillary services to existing clients within the portfolio.
• Develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for both new and existing clients as needed.
• Deliver timely bid proposals and designs for enhancement projects.
• Generate referrals from existing client base and communicate leads to Business Developer.
• Build and maintain long-term relations with clients and conduct regular site walkthroughs.
• Lead and facilitate the resolution of client concerns or issues (land and/or snow).
• Ensure timely account renewals within the assigned client portfolio.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
• Schedule regular site visits with the Operations Manager for quality reviews.
• Support hiring, training, and coaching of field crews for the portfolio.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain branch financial goals by managing gross margins for base work and ancillary services.
• Assist the Branch Manager in leadership and participation in meetings.
• Maintain proper account documentation and CRM notes.
• Monitor accounts receivable levels and coordinate with the Branch Administrator.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
