Job summary

Stanley Martin Homes seeks a Land Trainer to advance the capabilities of Land teams (Acquisition, Entitlement, Development) with practical, field-based learning experiences. Travel up to 25% to support division, field, and project-based initiatives.

You will translate real-world experiences into engaging learning, develop onboarding programs, and collaborate with SMEs and Instructional Designers to drive continuous improvement across the Land organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Land Acquisition, Entitlement, or Development experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25% to support training and field engagement.
• Strong professionalism and judgment aligned with Stanley Martin Homes values.
• Experience coaching or supporting the development of others in a field-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary SME in at least one land discipline (Acquisition, Entitlement, or Development).
• Translate complex land concepts into practical learning solutions and materials.
• Lead onboarding programs to accelerate readiness of Land team members.
• Coordinate training operations and field coaching to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
• Develop role-based learning paths and maintain updated training content.
