Bohler in Tampa, FL is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) to learn through real project experience from concept to construction. As a Spring 2027 intern, you will join a team of engineers, designers, and project managers shaping commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, supporting design and permitting while developing essential site design skills and professional practices in a mentorship‑driven

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Experience the day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm.
• Learn the stages of land development and site design processes.
• Develop concept, grading, stormwater, utility, and erosion control plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to advance projects.
• Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions.
• Visit sites to observe field conditions and learn the engineering process.
