Job summary

Bohler's Orlando office is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) for Summer 2027 to gain real-world site design experience.

You will work with engineers, designers, and project managers on commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments, using AutoCAD Civil 3D and supporting permitting tasks. Training and mentorship are provided in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter attitude with ability to work independently and with a team.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not proficient)

Responsibilities

• Experience day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm.
• Learn stages of the land development and site design process.
• Enhance technical skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D to design concept, grading, stormwater, and utility plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to drive projects forward.
• Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions.
• Visit sites to observe field conditions and learn the engineering process.
