Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Analyst to support the Vice President of Land Acquisition with market analyses, financial reporting, and feasibility studies for division assets. This role involves preparing proformas, evaluating acquisitions, and assisting in Greenfolder processes while collaborating with multiple departments to drive value for the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Economics, Real Estate, Finance, or similar discipline required.
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of real estate and residential land use.
• Local real estate knowledge extremely beneficial.
• High proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of mapping applications.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis for quarterly/annual division plans and reports.
• Prepare revenues, margins, cash flow, break-even and ROA calculations.
• Assist in financial feasibility analyses for acquisitions.
• Prepare underwriting proformas and related financial docs.
• Perform pricing analysis and structure deals for dispositions.
• Suggest price and profit participation structures and payment schedules.
• Maintain a computerized proforma model for community planning.
• Collaborate with management to test alternative business plans and choose an optimum plan.
• Coordinate with Corporate Finance to ensure adherence to financial strategies.
