Job summary

The Bay Family of Companies is hiring a Machine Operator for our metal building insulation laminating line. You will safely set up laminators and band saws, interpret work instructions, and help direct General Laborers to keep production flowing.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in manufacturing or warehouse roles, a forklift certification, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling operations.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain on hire.
• Experience with fiberglass insulation or related materials preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to safe, organized, and productive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and adjust laminators and band saws.
• Perform daily safety inspections and checklists.
• Maintain production records and inventory control.
• Support material handling and production flow.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling and handling of goods.
• Prepare outgoing shipments per requirements.
• Record material movements in ERP and conduct quality checks.
• Assist shipping and production teams to ensure on-time orders.
• Handle hazardous materials under supervision.
