Job summary

Bay Insulation of Tennessee Inc is seeking a Machine Operator to join our metal building insulation laminating team. You will safely set up and operate laminators and band saws, interpret work instructions, and help maintain production quality and record keeping.

This role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year in manufacturing, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will contribute to safe, efficient production, material handling, and on-time shipments, while

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling operations preferred.
Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
Experience with fiberglass insulation, facing materials, or metal building insulation manufacturing preferred.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions.

Responsibilities

Operate laminators and band saws safely and efficiently.
Perform daily machine safety inspections and safety checklists.
Set up machines including glue tab alignment, compression settings, glue and tape application, and run speed adjustments.
Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced and waste tracking.
Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments per customer requirements.
Maintain inventory accuracy through counts and ERP system updates.
