Job summary

Bay Insulation Systems in Texas is seeking a Machine Operator to support our laminating operation. You will safely set up laminators and band saws, interpret work instructions, and ensure materials meet customer specifications while guiding General Laborers during setup.

You will maintain production records, perform preventative maintenance, manage inventory, and assist with shipping. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling preferred (1+ year).
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer proficiency with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation and setup for laminators and band saws.
• Perform daily safety inspections and safety checklists.
• Conduct preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Accurately set up machines and adjust parameters.
• Maintain production records including quantities, waste, and downtime.
• Manage material handling and production flow to support timely orders.
• Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments per requirements.
• Ensure safe storage and labeling of raw and finished goods.
• Support loading/unloading and inventory reconciliation.
