Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure physical aspects of the property meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role involves completing work orders, performing make-readies for vacant units, maintaining grounds, and documenting all tasks to support efficient operations.

Essential duties include diagnosing issues, repairing in accordance with safety standards, and assisting in safety compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance; diagnoses and repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units: pre-move-out inspection, punch list, vendor coordination, supplies, and inspections.
• Obtains materials and tools from the maintenance department; tracks usage and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately to ensure proper record-keeping and tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; cleans, paints curbs/signage, and supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts.
