Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and complete preventative maintenance across grounds and common areas.

The role requires completing work orders, prepping vacant units for leasing, inventory management, and adhering to safety policies. Flexible hours and onsite work at Greystar properties are involved, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on cost-efficient

Qualifications

• Must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to access and obtain materials and track inventory; notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
