Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings and common areas meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. The role involves diagnosing issues, completing make-ready tasks for vacant units, and maintaining inventories on a busy property.

Responsibilities include documenting work orders, assisting with grounds upkeep, and supporting cost-saving maintenance practices while keeping management informed of safety concerns.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I/II or Universal) per state requirements.
• Valid driver’s license to operate vehicle on property and golf carts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and complete service requests per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Track inventory and coordinate material re-orders with maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with painting curbs and cleaning as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing components rather than replacements when feasible.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns to management.
