TriCore is New Mexico’s largest laboratory, offering a path from Laboratory Scientist I to IV with varying education requirements and direct clinical lab experience. The role focuses on performing waived to high complexity tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring QC/QA integrity.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 1430–2300 with weekends, holidays, on‑call and other shifts as needed; compensation is hourly with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) employer

Competenze

• Must meet CLIA-based qualification levels LS I–IV.
• Minimum CLIA qualifications and education requirements per level.
• Compliance with regulatory inspections and QA/QC processes.
• Immunization requirements for certain departments/locations.

Mansioni

• Performs waived, moderate, or high complexity laboratory tests.
• Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment; runs QC testing.
• Monitors QA data and takes corrective action as directed.
• Orders supplies and assists with staff training and OSHA/CLIA duties.
• Serves as liaison with internal and external customers.

Formazione

Bachelor’s degree in biological, or chemical science

Associate’s degree in laboratory science (biology or chemistry) or medical laboratory technology

Education and training equivalent to an associate degree in a laboratory science

Two years’ direct clinical laboratory experience
