Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Analyst I to join our accredited commercial laboratory in Dayville. This full-time role provides routine scientific tasks under close supervision, receiving specific instructions on required tasks and expected results.

Key responsibilities include following SOPs, preparing standards and samples, and operating laboratory instrumentation. You will document observations, maintain logs, and support safety and quality programs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher with related experience.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory terminology and instrumentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements to prepare and process samples for analytical testing.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
• Operate and set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Record observations and data accurately; maintain logs and notebooks.
• Enter data into the LIMS system and perform administrative tasks.
• Support Safety and Quality programs as needed.
