Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Analyst I to perform routine lab tasks under close supervision in a accredited commercial laboratory. You will follow established SOPs, prepare samples and standards, and help with data recording and initial interpretations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or higher and 0–2 years of related experience. You will work with standard lab instruments, maintain logs, and contribute to safety and quality programs in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience or a bachelor's degree.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory principles, terminology, practices, and instrumentation.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines and rush orders.
• Computer literacy and data handling skills.
• Ability to work with delicate laboratory equipment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and compliance requirements to prepare and process samples and collect information for analytical testing.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
• Operate and set up specialized laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Accurately record observations and data; perform basic data interpretation.
• Maintain logs, notebooks, and equipment records; ensure data integrity.
• Enter data into computerized LIMS and perform miscellaneous administrative tasks.
• May perform duties of a Technical Manager or Study Manager as needed.
• Promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
