Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years related experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory principles, terminology and instrumentation.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Following established SOPs and accrediting body requirements, prepare and process samples for analytical testing.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
• Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Record observations and data accurately and interpret results at a basic level.
• Maintain logs, notebooks and equipment records with integrity.
• Enter data into computerized LIMS and perform basic lab administration.
