Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Analyst I to support routine analytical testing in a Pittston, PA laboratory.

The position offers full-time hours with duties under close supervision, including sample preparation, data recording, and instrument operation. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or higher with related experience or a bachelor’s degree, plus basic lab knowledge and ability to prioritize tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; plus two years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory principles, terminology, practices and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements to prepare and process samples for analytical testing.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples.
• Operate and set up specialized laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Record observations and data accurately and interpret results.
