The Analyst I, working in an accredited commercial laboratory, provides a variety of routine scientific tasks under close supervision.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or higher with related lab experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a busy lab.
- Computer literacy and ability to document data accurately.
Responsibilities
- Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements to prepare and process samples for analysis.
- Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
- Use lab equipment to process and analyze samples and set up equipment as needed.
- Record observations and data accurately for review.
- Maintain logs, notebooks, and equipment records and ensure data integrity.
- Enter data into LIMS and perform basic data review.
