Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a labor management payroll coordinator to manage labor spend and process payroll in accordance with policies. You will be the primary contact for scheduling, timekeeping and payroll for all employees.

The role focuses on balancing staffing needs with budget, minimizing overtime and agency spend while ensuring hours per patient day and salary expense stay within targets.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of work experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care, with a proven track record in scheduling, timekeeping, or payroll.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary nursing center contact for scheduling, timekeeping and payroll.
• Balance staffing needs, employee schedule preferences, and financial performance.
• Use software to minimize overtime and nursing agency spend while maintaining HPPD and salary expense within budget.
• Lead Labor Management Team to monitor KPIs and optimize clinical, financial, and HR results.
• Maintain nursing staff coverage at all times.
