Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking a Payroll and Labor Management Specialist to oversee the nursing center's labor spend and payroll processes. You will balance staffing needs with budgeted labor costs while optimizing hours per patient day and controlling overtime.

The role leads the Labor Management Team, collaborates with HR and operations, and ensures continuous staffing coverage, accuracy, and compliance within established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare or long-term care in similar role.
• Experience with scheduling, timekeeping, or payroll.
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the nursing center's labor spend and process payroll according to policies.
• Serve as primary nursing center contact for scheduling, timekeeping and payroll needs.
• Balance staffing needs, employee preferences, and financial performance.
• Use software to minimize overtime and agency spend while maintaining HPPD and salary at budgeted levels.
• Lead Labor Management Team to optimize clinical, financial and HR operating results.
• Maintain nursing staff coverage at all times.
