Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN at Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, AZ. The role supports family-centered care in a Level II unit with 24-hour obstetric coverage, including CNMs and Neonatologists, and a night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM with a generous night differential.

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in shared leadership, and provide care across labor, delivery, and recovery in the LDR setting,

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Banner requires one year of acute care hospital experience in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and educational needs and plan discharge.
• Formulate and revise a plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and care team.
• Implement the plan of care and coordinate care with the health care team and physicians.
• Document assessments and interventions clearly in the patient record and ensure timely updates.
