Job summary
Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, AZ is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a high-volume unit. You'll deliver compassionate care during pre-pregnancy, labor, delivery, and recovery, collaborating with NICU, OR, Couplet Care, and ED teams to ensure safe, patient-centered births.
This full-time role offers opportunities for leadership, ongoing education, and growth in Women & Infant Services, with day shifts and potential for night shift assignments based on
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona.
- 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
- BLS & ACLS as required by department.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on bedside care through pre-pregnancy complications, laboring moms, delivery, and recovery.
- Collaborate with NICU, Couplet Care, OR, and ED teams.
- Interpret fetal monitoring and anticipate labor progression.
- Act as a clinical leader, supervising and delegating patient care as needed.
- Ensure safety, comfort, and communication throughout the birth experience.
- Participate in hourly rounding and uphold evidence-based nursing standards.
- With appropriate experience, may act as charge nurse or OB triage.
