Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is actively seeking a Senior Labor Compliance Specialist to lead our labor compliance program across nationwide projects. This role can be remote or based in our San Diego, CA office, with location details discussed in the interview process.

You will oversee audits, monitor regulatory changes, and drive training and investigations in collaboration with Operations and other departments to ensure adherence to labor laws and contract requirements across our projects.

Qualifications

• Seven years experience in the labor compliance in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of the laws surrounding labor.
• Familiarity with construction industry contract types and language, particularly as it relates to areas relevant to labor compliance.
• Ability to comprehend Government and other regulations and determine proper applicability to Company’s business.
• Current on industry issues related to labor compliance, and as they apply to the Industry.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor compliance group and oversee labor compliance across the company.
• Oversee, administer and update the Corporate Labor Compliance Program with Operations and other SI Departments.
• Coordinate and perform periodic internal audits of labor compliance procedures.
• Monitor and stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations that might affect labor compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify and share best control practices, including software, as it relates to labor compliance, and advise on needed changes.
• Manage investigation of identified or reported compliance issues with leadership and SI departments.
• Participate in third party/government reviews, audits and inquiries with departments and outside resources.
• Identify, develop and participate in needed training on labor compliance efforts.
• Attend external training and participate in industry compliance organizations to stay aware of trends.
