Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking a Senior Labor Compliance Specialist. This role can either be remote or based full-time in our office in San Diego, CA.

Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. The position oversees the Labor Compliance Program, conducts internal audits, monitors laws and regulations, investigates issues, and coordinates external reviews.

Qualifications

• Seven years experience in labor compliance within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of the laws surrounding labor in the industry.
• Familiarity with construction industry contract types and language as it relates to labor compliance.
• Ability to comprehend government and other regulations and apply to the company.
• Stay current on industry issues related to labor compliance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the labor compliance program and coordinate with Operations and SI Departments.
• Manage audits of labor compliance procedures and update the program as needed.
• Monitor applicable laws and regulations and share best practices.
• Investigate identified compliance issues with leadership and other departments.
• Participate in external reviews, audits, and inquiries with relevant teams and partners.
• Identify and participate in required training on labor compliance efforts.
• Attend external training and industry groups to stay current.
